Tradition Of The Dead

Like a wind they walk
Into our abode
One of the bluest moon
To dine with us
And whisper into our ear
Words we'll never ear
What a tradition!
Tradition of the dead.

Like a lover
They visit us in our dreams
And bless our stress
For they've seen life
As a home of endless struggles
What a tradition!
Tradition of the dead.

Like a chameleon
They snatch the colour
Of the living.
And lace on any face
their resemblance
Just for us to flashback
Into ephemeral moments
They've spent with us
What a tradition!
Tradition of the dead

But,
Who knows?
If the dead also lives
